  6. Full refund if you don’t enjoy your first game. Just message request via email within 24hrs from your first game.

I really want to play but don't have a team?

No problem! You can sign up as an individual or with a friend and we will find the friendly teamates for you :)

Just fill out the form here to reserve a spot on one of our individuals teams.

What if I'm a beginner player?

You have come to the right place! All our games are social so no one takes it too seriously. Our friendly umpire Clare can help explain the basic rules at the start of each game :)

Is the league Ladies or Mixed?

We are open to both types of teams.
On average around 90% of our teams are Mixed and 10% are Ladies.
All our teams have a maximum of 3 guys on the court at once.

What is the difference between the 'more social' and 'more competitive' nights?

The ‘more social’ night is perfect if you havent played in a while or want to play with more Mixed teams.

The ‘more competitive’ night is better suited if you have played a bit before and are looking to play at a bit higher level.

Please note both competitions are social so the main aim is to have fun, if you are super competitive and play to win at all costs then this probably isnt the right league for you.

What happens after I join as an individual player?

We will be in touch to confirm your team and your new teammates within 5 days. If you haven’t heard from us after 5 days, just message Sam here or using the live chat on the site.

How much does it cost and whats included?

Teams of 7-10 are $89pw and individual players are $15pw. This provides a 12 week season with referees and prizes for the Grand Final winners. If you join midway through the season then you only pay for the remaining games left.

What time and location are the games?

Games are every Tuesday or Wednesday night at All Hallows School.
Games are 45mins and game times will be between 6.00pm and 9.00pm.
We play at the same venue every week and you can check your game time anytime on the website.

How do I find the court?

You can find directions and parking info for our All Hallows Venue in the Brisbane CBD here:
www.sportups.com.au/locations/all-hallows-school/

What do I need to wear?

We provide all the bibs so you just need to bring something cool and comfortable to play in and good trainers. Also remember you can’t play with jewellery or long nails.

What skill level will my team be?

We try to create teams of similar ability but our competitions are social so the skill level will vary between teams, like it does for all competitions. We have experienced state players and new players, but everyone is looking to enjoy playing some Netball. If you are really worried about the skill level get in touch with your experience and I can let you know if our competition will be suitable for you.

Can I play with a friend?

If you don’t have enough players for a team you can enter with friends and we can make sure you are on the same team. We operate on a first come first served basis so just enrol together and send Sam a message or use the live chat on the bottom left of this page, to make sure you are all placed together :)

What happens if I can't make it one week?

As long as you let us know 48hrs in advance, we can usually find a replacement player for you so your team won’t have to play short ;)

What is the refund policy?

If you don’t enjoy your first game you can get a full 100% refund. Just email [email protected] within 24hrs from your first game.

After 24hrs from your first game there is no refund however still let me know if you can no longer play and I can try and find a replacement player for your team.

We find this provides more committed players for your team giving your team the best chance to do well in the season :)

Why doesn't SportUP offer insurance?

Essentially because you get a better deal with private health cover. A club wide policy would require you to be insured for the whole year rather than just for the length of the league so it would increase registration prices.

Plus as a blanket policy it would provide only very limited cover of up to specific amounts e.g. $20 on each Physio. If you don’t have a medicare card or private health cover we recommend you take out a personal accident or injury policy.

Whilst SportUP aims to provide a safe and fun place to play sport, accidents do happen so make sure you know what you are covered for with your insurance.
