Touch is coming back to SportUP!

2.12 Timeslot-60

SportUPs, Brisbane’s largest social sports club is teaming up with the largest Touch leagues in Brisbane, Premier Touch and City Touch to facilitate an unprecedented opportunity for individual players to get involved in the sport of touch football all across the Brisbane area.

In the past, players have essentially been confined to registering complete teams into such competitions. This partnership will see the SportUPs organisation helping to facilitate individual involvement by gathering like-minded individuals into teams.

Taking the hassle and constraints of having to be in a team out of the equation.

But no football boots with studs or cleats.

SportUP reaches 4,000 members!

Thank you for helping to make SportUP the place for individuals to play sport socially and for making our games so much fun to organise :)

We have grown from 3,000 to 4,000 players in just less than 4 months. My mission when I started SportUP was to help people get playing so its very rewarding to have helped so many people get playing.

We have two new leagues starting over the next few weeks plus more socials you voted for and some new exciting news to share soon…

When we reach 5,000 members we will be hosting a big SportUP party for all our players.

If you want to help us reach this goal, you can let your friends, workmates, housemates or family know that if they are looking to play sport, they can join us as an individual or a team anytime :)

Play this Thursday for $4. (Limited spots so first 12 players only)

After spending over $10k over Christmas to relay the grass on the field, the groundsman is not happy with the progress of the grass.

So we have to go no studs untill 11th April, 2016. Anyone that only brings studs will have to wear spare trainers at the venue.

Moulded style boots like this are fine but no boots with big studs like this.

The groundsmen are working hard to help the grass grow and once the grass recovers a bit more we can go back to boots.
